Proposal for Changes of Organizational Structure in a Small Company

The work deals with the organizational structure of the selected company. Organizational structure is designed to effectively reflect current needs. The proposed changes are implemented based on an analysis of the current state of the researched business area. The key sources of analysis were secondary sources in the form of internal materials and data obtained by observations and interviews with management. The main output of this work is the design of a new organizational structure, which is necessary to ensure the smooth running of the company, especially more effective cooperation between members of management consisting mainly of defining competencies and mutual communication.
Proposal to change the categorisation of work at the selected workplace

The diploma thesis deals with work categorization falling into the issue of occupational health protection. The theoretical part is devoted to current legislative reguirements of the EU, the Czech Republic and relevant standards. It also provides a general overview of the system of public health authorities together with a more detailed description of the work categorization topic and related concepts and requirements. This thesis has been made in cooperation with Varroc Lighting Systems, s.r.o., Nový Jičín. The practical part deals with the suggested change of categorization of the optimized assembly line work positions for car rear lighting (B479 OUTER RL). The main aim of this work is to check the correctness of the classification of individual work positions. The intention of updating the categorization is also to reduce the negative impact of critical risk factors of working conditions, which brings benefits for both employees and employers. The specific course of the classification of individual risk factors with a focus on the noise as a critical risk factor is demonstrated on the riskiest work position of the assembly line. In the end, the achieved results of updated classification of all positions are evaluated. The follow-up changes and the resulting benefits of updating the categorization, including other practical recommendations, are also summarized.

In the first part, which is theoretical, the terms related to employee remuneration are summarized. These terms are based on professional publications. The second part is focusing on the analysis of the current remuneration system and the impact of internal and external factors on the organization. In the last part, there are suggestions for improvements and innovations.

In individual segments of the theoretical part, concepts and methods are analysed using professional literature. The second part focuses on the company’s characteristics and a description of its current methods in terms of selection, recruitment, and adaptation of a worker. The last part of the thesis proposes amendments that may lead to changes in the company’s existing system.

Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations

Title: Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to recommend the most suitable Belbin roles for job positions in sports organizations based on knowledge from research and literature. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research will take place in the form of dialogue and subsequent discussion of the Focus Group with representatives of sports organizations. 9 respondents will participate in this group discussion. Quantitative research is conducted among volunteers in sports organizations through electronic surveys and the Click4Survey tool. The Belbin test is part of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey includes a sample of 305 respondents. Results: The results of qualitative research show that the positions offered to volunteers include the positions of administrative worker, assistant, supervisor, organizer and coach. The results of quantitative research show that the most represented role in volunteers, according to Belbin's typology, is the role of the Implementer. There is no statistically significant relationship between the job position and the role of volunteers, however, based on the findings from research and literature, the author recommends the most suitable...

Employee Recruitment and Selection Process Focusing on Workers´ Positions in a Selected Company

In this bachelor thesis, an analysis of the current recruitment and selection process in the Iveco Czech Republic company was performed. Several shortcomings in this process were revealed. To optimize this process, changes were proposed to make the whole process more efficient and to facilitate the work of the recruitment team.
